First off, Stage 13 was a blast to watch. It was devoid of the wrecks that have plagued the race, and the breakaway showed tremendous tactical drama.
Watching a personal favorite in Thor Hushovd climb the Pyranese with great power left over was a fun day. Seeing Volkler's defense has been great as well. If the contendars keep mucking about, he might have the yellow until the Alps.
Here we go, the DVR is queued up and I'm planted down to watch Stage 14. Should be amazing. Here's hoping!
